Adventure Time

Adventure time is an animated series which follows the Adventures of Finn the Human (Jeremy Shada) and Jake the Dog (John Dimaggio) as they venture across the fictional ‘Land of Ooo’. During these adventures, or ‘quests’ as Finn likes to call them, the pair come across various lovable characters such as Princess Bubblegum (Hynden Walch), The Ice King (Tom Kenny), BMO(Niki Yang), Treetrunks (Polly Lou Livingston), Flame Princess (Jessica DiCicco), Marcelene the Vampire Queen (Olivia Olson) and many more. Some characters even receive their own episodes with Finn and Jake showing up only momentarily or not at all.

These quests take on various forms some are dangerous while others are more comical, but all the episodes aim to teach some kind of valuable life lesson, which is due in no small part to the fact that the show is aimed at a younger audience. The lessons this show teaches are further emphasised through the shows gender swapping episodes which offers a unique perspective to show how different people would act during similar situations. That being said the show does not fail to provide entertaining moments and jokes for older audience members making this show a great choice for the whole family.

Adventure Time first aired in 2010 and continues to this day. The series currently has 9 seasons each varying drastically in the number and length of each episode.

I greatly enjoyed Adventure Time and would definitely recommend it to everyone regardless of age as its comedy and overall concepts can be enjoyed by anyone of any age.

I give Adventure Time a 10/10.


This show is rated PG and thus parents should use some caution but should not be too worried about letting their children watch this show.

The IT Crowd The IT Crowd is a simple, yet hilarious British Comedy show based around the semi-disastrous lives of two antisocial IT professionals, Maurice Moss (played by Richard Ayoade) and Roy Trenneman (played by Chris O’Dowd). Throughout each series the pair provide IT support for their company, Reynhold Industries under the watchful eye of their new department supervisor Jen Barber (played by Katherine Parkinson), who does not understand technology in the slightest. Hey guys! It's Sushmi here again, with yet another sitcom, The Office (US version). This show is one that I've recently started watching and it's a really good show to pass time and procrastinate, with short 20-25 minute episodes that are extremely funny. As the title suggests the show revolves around an office, a branch of a paper company in Scranton, America called 'Dunder Mifflin'. It shows the everyday lives of the staff of this company under the management of their eccentric manager, Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, a very talented actor who has starred in many successful movies, eg. Despicable Me Series, Get Smart. Even though the staff are working a boring everyday sales role, the interactions within each character is what makes the show so good.
