The IT Crowd


The IT Crowd is a simple, yet hilarious British Comedy show based around the semi-disastrous lives of two antisocial IT professionals, Maurice Moss (played by Richard Ayoade) and Roy Trenneman (played by Chris O’Dowd). Throughout each series the pair provide IT support for their company, Reynhold Industries under the watchful eye of their new department supervisor Jen Barber (played by Katherine Parkinson), who does not understand technology in the slightest. Together the trio end up getting themselves into ridiculous situations that defy even the most basic form of common sense. Many such situations getting them into trouble with their somewhat unusual boss Denholm Reynholm (played by Christopher Morris) and later their even stranger boss Douglas Reyholm (played by Matt Berry) the son of Denholm.

The IT Crowd aired for a total of 8 year between 2006 to 2013, with the show boasting a total of 5 seasons and 25 episodes with each episode running for an average total of 25 minutes. In 2010 the show reached the end of its fourth season and the story line was finalized, however they did create one final episode in 2013 running for a total of 52 minutes.

Overall, I enjoyed this series and would highly recommend it to any fan of comedy tv shows, especially fans of British comedy.

I give The IT Crowd an 8/10.

This show is rated M and thus contains levels of content that would be inappropriate for anyone under the ages of 15. So parental supervision would be recommended if viewing the show as a family.

Hey guys! It's Sushmi here again, with yet another sitcom, The Office (US version). This show is one that I've recently started watching and it's a really good show to pass time and procrastinate, with short 20-25 minute episodes that are extremely funny. As the title suggests the show revolves around an office, a branch of a paper company in Scranton, America called 'Dunder Mifflin'. It shows the everyday lives of the staff of this company under the management of their eccentric manager, Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, a very talented actor who has starred in many successful movies, eg. Despicable Me Series, Get Smart. Even though the staff are working a boring everyday sales role, the interactions within each character is what makes the show so good.
