Parks and Recreation

Hey hey guys, it's your sitcom queen back at it here again! Today I'll be covering one of my favourite shows ever. It's got obviously some amazing comedic timing and versatile characters. Parks and recreation! Once again, the show just like my last post is set in an office type setting, but in the Indiana Parks and Recreation Department. It follows Leslie Knope, A do-gooder who hopes to make her city a better place and move up in her career. She is quite the eccentric type lacking some social skills. The show portrays the obstacles she faces in order to good, her love interests and the office relationships. In the office there are many interesting characters who my descriptions will do no justice to. So I recommend watching the show to find out but here is a small video I found of one funny moment of one of my favourite characters, Andy Dwyer.



As you see, the characters are pretty hilarious. Fun Fact: The actor who plays Andy Dwyer, Chris Pratt, went on to play lead roles in some amazing movies, Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy Series and more. The rest of the cast, just like Chris,, have went on to be cast in really big hit movies. So as you can see the show was so good that it's cast went on to do amazing things.

There are some downsides to the show however. The first season and beginning of the second season of the show were really slow. It took me a few goes to actually get through them but trust me, the show gets pretty awesome. So I highly recommend this show to everyone. Watch it!!

The IT Crowd The IT Crowd is a simple, yet hilarious British Comedy show based around the semi-disastrous lives of two antisocial IT professionals, Maurice Moss (played by Richard Ayoade) and Roy Trenneman (played by Chris O’Dowd). Throughout each series the pair provide IT support for their company, Reynhold Industries under the watchful eye of their new department supervisor Jen Barber (played by Katherine Parkinson), who does not understand technology in the slightest. Together the trio end up getting themselves into ridiculous situations that defy even the most basic form of common sense. Hey guys! It's Sushmi here again, with yet another sitcom, The Office (US version). This show is one that I've recently started watching and it's a really good show to pass time and procrastinate, with short 20-25 minute episodes that are extremely funny. As the title suggests the show revolves around an office, a branch of a paper company in Scranton, America called 'Dunder Mifflin'. It shows the everyday lives of the staff of this company under the management of their eccentric manager, Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, a very talented actor who has starred in many successful movies, eg. Despicable Me Series, Get Smart. Even though the staff are working a boring everyday sales role, the interactions within each character is what makes the show so good. The main recurring roles include a love interest between receptionist, Pam, and sales, Jim Chapman.
