Gossip Girl is an extremely popular America teen drama centered around the lives of some upper-class teenagers living in Manhattan's Upper East Side (UES).  The TV Show is based on a book series and had run for 5 seasons. The characters in the show are filthy filthy rich with servants, travelling in limos to school and unlimited credit cards. It makes an average teenage girl like me yearn for a life like this. The show predominantly revolves around 5 characters: Serena Van Der Woodsen, the "IT Girl", with good looks, energy and charisma; Blair Waldorf, also pretty, snobbish, schemer, best friend of Serena "Queen Bee; Dan Humphrey, does not live in UES- "peasant", "lonely boy", attractive, sensitive, write; Chuck Bass, play boy, hedonist, anti-hero ; AND Nate Archibald, "pretty boy", good guy.

Now the show is called "GOSSIP GIRL". What that about? Well Gossip Girl is a ruthless and mysterious blogger who follows the lives of these elite with tips from the public. She scoops up dirt and reveals scandalous secrets about drama, romances etc within this over prices, upper class world. The identity of Gossip Girl herself is not extremely relevant throughout the first portion of the series, however as the TV show progresses, her image is prevalant, and we get to find out who's hiding behind the blog. You guys would begin the show scoffing at  the flashy, ridiculous premise and will end up obsessed and held in suspense just like i was. I totally recommend this show for anyone with a thirst for dramatics.

The IT Crowd The IT Crowd is a simple, yet hilarious British Comedy show based around the semi-disastrous lives of two antisocial IT professionals, Maurice Moss (played by Richard Ayoade) and Roy Trenneman (played by Chris O’Dowd). Throughout each series the pair provide IT support for their company, Reynhold Industries under the watchful eye of their new department supervisor Jen Barber (played by Katherine Parkinson), who does not understand technology in the slightest. Together the trio end up getting themselves into ridiculous situations that defy even the most basic form of common sense. Hey guys! It's Sushmi here again, with yet another sitcom, The Office (US version). This show is one that I've recently started watching and it's a really good show to pass time and procrastinate, with short 20-25 minute episodes that are extremely funny. As the title suggests the show revolves around an office, a branch of a paper company in Scranton, America called 'Dunder Mifflin'. It shows the everyday lives of the staff of this company under the management of their eccentric manager, Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell, a very talented actor who has starred in many successful movies, eg. Despicable Me Series, Get Smart. Even though the staff are working a boring everyday sales role, the interactions within each character is what makes the show so good.
